In this video we'll talk all things Engage! We'll look at what Engage is, how to view people and groups, and even how to add people to groups and memberships.
Introduction
The Engage section in the Churchly tutorial allows users to manage form data, group memberships, and submissions, with features for communication and tracking.
Step-by-step guide
Click on “Engage/Contacts” at the top section of the builder
Step1: Contacts
-Click on the people icon on the left sidebar
-If you have created any type of contact forms or memberships, those people will show up in “All Contacts”
-You can create groups (for example, “Worship Team”) and add members manually by name and email
-You can add phone number, notes, address, and additional information by clicking on a member’s name
-Any forms that an individual has filled out will appear under “Form Submits”
-Anything that an individual has bought will appear under “Orders”
-Under the “Actions” button, you can reset an individual’s password or delete them as a user
Step 2: Form Submits
-Click on the mail icon on the left sidebar
-Select the Form Name from the drop down menu in the top left corner
-All the messages/submissions from that particular form will appear here
-You can download your data from each form by clicking the cloud icon in the top left corner
Step 3: Settings
-Click on the gear icon on the left sidebar
-Under Customer Properties, select “Create Property” to an add a field to be collected and displayed for your contacts
-Under Tags, Select “Create Tag” to add a tag to better segment your contacts
-Under Membership Settings, you can toggle the settings for membership registrations, member approval, and sending email notifications
