Getting started with your Churchly site

In this video we'll be covering how to get up and running with your new Churchly website in a matter of just a couple of minutes!

Introduction

Learn how to get started with Churchly by signing up for a free account, selecting a design, customizing your site with branding elements, and previewing your content before going live.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Login into your Churchly account. 

-If you do not have a Churchly account, go to churchly.com/start and select a design 

-Select “Start with This Theme”

-Enter your name, email, and password

-Click on “Continue”

Step 2: Church basic information

-Type in your Church’s name, hit “Submit”

-Fill out the fields with your Church’s information (Name, Address, Phone NUmber, Email, Mission Statement)

-Brand Color

-You may have a hex code for your brand color, you can paste it here

-Otherwise, select the color which matches your brand

-Brand Logo

-If you don’t have an official logo, select “Text Logo”, type in your church’s name, and edit the font

-If you do have an official logo, select “Image Logo”, then select the plus button in the top left corner to create a “Logos” image folder

-You can drag and drop your logo or select “Upload File” 

-PNG files work best, as they have transparent backgrounds. Depending on your theme design, white backgrounds may work as well. 

-Hit “Select”

-Click “Go To My Site”

Step 3: Previewing your site

-Click on the eye icon on the left side bar, this is what visitors will see when they visit your website
