Builder Basics
In this video we'll be covering the basics of working with the builder and how to understand a page layout.
Introduction
Learn the basics of using the Churchly Builder, a drag-and-drop feature for creating webpages with blocks, columns, and widgets.
Step-by-step guide
The builder uses a drag-and-drop feature and functionality.
Pages are made up of blocks. The blocks can be edited (i.e. background image, color overlay & opacity, image position, parallax, container sizing, etc.). Inside of each block are columns. You can split up the columns up to 5 parts. Columns can also be edited (e.g. images, margins, borders, shadows, etc.).
To build out each block, you drag and drop widgets wherever the blue line appears in the block. Click on the “+” icon in the left sidebar to add a widget, choosing from the widger library. See the Widget Help videos for detailed instructions for each widget type.
